Height Chart for Miniature Horses & A New Book!

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE HEIGHT OF YOUR MINI! THERE ARE MANY BREEDERS/SELLERS THAT TELL YOU YOUR HORSE WILL NOT GROW ANYMORE OR THAT IT WILL ONLY BE THIS SIZE WHEN IN FACT IT WILL GROW TALLER! ALWAYS GET CURRENT PICS OF THE HORSE PLUS A PICTURE OF THE MINI NEXT TO A MINI MEASUREING STICK OR YARD STICK TO PROVE HEIGHT! MINIS GROW TO 3 YEARS OF AGE REGARDLESS IF THE TAIL TOUCHES THE GROUND OR NOT. A 25" MINI OR 26" MINI IS NOT GOING TO STAY THAT SMALL IF IT IS ONLY A YEAR OLD IT WILL GROW SEVERAL MORE INCHES.

For Instance as the chart displays a 25" yearling will mature to 28". It will not grow only 1 inch more. It is a known FACT that miniatures grow until 3 years of age and grow SEVERAL inches - at least 2-3 inches from whatever their TRUE yearling height is.

We have been breeding, training and showing miniatures for over two decades and find this chart very helpful and VERY accurate. There are many other well respected world champion producers and breeders that also use this height chart as a guide and like us have found it to be very accurate in determining height estimates for young miniature horses.
